I didn’t just want to admire from afar.
I wanted to breathe the same air, and see the time that surrounds this person.
移動と到着
海沿いの町へ車を走らせる。
会いに行ったのは、パラグライダーの憧れの先輩とその家族。
Travel and Arrival
Driving along the road toward a seaside town.
I went to visit a paragliding senior I admire — and their family.
再会
その人はちょっと前に「やりきった」と日本代表を退いている。「飛び方」だけでなく、「生活の中にどうパラグライダーを取り入れるか」という部分でも憧れる人。
海が一望できる、カフェで再開。
Reunion
Some time ago, that person stepped down from the Japan national team, saying they had “done it all.” I’ve always admired them not just for how they fly, but for how they integrate paragliding into their everyday life.
We met again at a seaside café with a sweeping ocean view.
家へ
家へ戻ると、長女がいた。
本が好きみたい。
Home
When we returned home, their eldest daughter was there.
She seemed to love books.
暖炉のある家
暖炉の温もりは不思議。心まで温まる。
家の隅まで、温もりが届いていた。
A House with a Fireplace
There’s something mysterious about the warmth of a fireplace.
It doesn’t just warm the body — it warms the heart.
That warmth reached every corner of the house.
大賑わい
ママと子どもたちが帰ってきた。
子供のパワーはすごい。
元気で明るくて温かい。いいね。
Full of Life
Mom and the kids came home.
Children’s energy is incredible.
So much liveliness and warmth fill the house.
It feels even cozier now — I love it.
